Inks MoU with Bangkok based Minor Hotels
A key MoU was recently signed between Sunray Resorts & Minor Hotels for the construction of a 117-room hotel in Visakhapatnam.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Andhra Pradesh’s Tourism Minister Mr. Kandula Durgesh on the sidelines of the recently held 20th South Asia Hotel Investment Conference at The Westin Mumbai.
Sunray Resorts founder and managing director Mr Raja Babu signed the MoU with Minor Hotels, a well renowned international hotel owner, operator, and investor headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
The MoU signing ceremony was also attended by the Principal Secretary, Tourism, GoAP, Mr Ajay Jain and AP Tourism, CEO& MD Ms Amarapali Kata.
Similarly, Minor Hotels top boss for Asia, Mr Puneet Dhawan was also present at the signing ceremony thereby marking the brand’s keen focus on expanding its presence in the region.
Minor Hotels has over 560 hotels and resorts across six continents with a diverse portfolio of F&B businesses and a selection of luxury transportation services.
About the New Hotel
The new property is slated to come up in the vicinity of the new upcoming greenfield airport in Bhogapuram and as per sources this will be a 5-star deluxe category hotel which will also entail a 9-hole golf course. The project is being scheduled for completion within a time frame of 3 years.
With this new project the city of destiny is set to enhance Visakhapatnam’s position as a premier destination for both leisure and business tourism, offering world-class amenities and services to tourists.
