RINL holds training programme on PULSE

A one-day interaction cum training programme on PULSE under the auspices of Management Services department was organized at Learning & development centre (L&DC) of RINL. 

Fifteen teams consisting of 55 young engineers and professionals of various departments of VSP participated.

PULSE’ which stands for Professional Utility by Leadership Support & Encouragement” (PULSE) is a team of young officers in various departments of VSP who keenly analyse the issues/problems related to the department with the objective of finding probable solutions.

The objective of PULSE is to provide an opportunity for creative thinking among young managers as well as to promote a team building culture and to provide a forum for the young managers to become change agent. 

Under PULSE Scheme in one of the Project in Light and Medium Merchant Mill (LMMM) -1 of VSP, Furnace Discharge Roller Bearing’s imported lubricants were successfully indigenised leading to significant cost savings.

RINL CMD Mr. Atul Bhatt, highlighted the role of Think Tanks in the present scenario and lauded implementation of Think Tanks in RINL by formulating a separate policy named PULSE.
