In a major achievement that could well be attributed to the charismatic charm and business friendly perception of Andhra Pradesh’s chief Minister Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Lulu group’s Chairman and Managing director Mr Yusuffali M.A. along with his top management recently descended on Amaravati to call upon the chief minister and his leadership team.
This of much significance as this multinational conglomerate that operates a chain of hypermarkets and retail companies, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates had earlier committed to a major investment in Vizag which got shelved in the previous government’s tenure.
Despite their unceremonious exit in 2019 the group has decided to revisit their investments into Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Mr Naidu.
In the meeting which is said to have lasted close to 2 hours the group has mooted investments into developing multiplexes and malls in Vizag, Vijayawada & Tirupati. It has also evinced interest in AP’s food processing sector.
Mr Naidu has assured the group of the government’s full support in realizing their investments into the state.
