CONCOR CMD speaks of expansion

Delivers talk at “India and World” Business Forum

Chairman and Managing Director of  Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), Mr. Sanjay Swarup,  recently delivered the opening remarks as the Guest of Honour during the logistics session at the “India and World” Business Forum. 

In his speech, Mr. Swarup explored several key initiatives, including the expansion of CONCOR’s services and infrastructure. He highlighted CONCOR’s association with the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) project, emphasizing the strategic agreement signed with a service provider to bolster this partnership. 

Mr. Swarup expressed optimism about the future development of the INSTC route, which he believes will significantly enhance the seamless transportation of goods from India to Russia once geopolitical conditions stabilize. 

The event, organized by the Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations of India (FFFAI) and the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT), took place in Mumbai recently. Mr. Sanjay Swarup, & team also visited the PSA Mumbai terminal at JN Port recently. 

The PSA Mumbai CEO, Mr Andy Lane along with its Head of Operations Mr Ignatius Ang & team gave the delegation an exclusive tour of the terminal’s facilities.
