AP’s Hotel & Restaurant Assn. gets a new Team

Pavan Kartheek elected as President

The Hotels & Restaurants Association of Andhra Pradesh (HRAAP) recently announced the formation of its new committee in a meeting held with all its members at ITC Devee Grand Bay Hotel in Visakhapatnam.

Elegant hotel’s Mr M.V Pavan Kartheek was unanimously elected as the President while The Park hotel’s Mr Jaideep Biswas as the Secretary and Mr R Venkat Rao as the Treasurer.

Daspalla Hotel’s Dr. S Prasanth has been chosen to serve as an esteemed member of the Advisory Board, providing valuable guidance and expertise to the association.

The hospitality sector is one of the top focus areas of the current TDP led NDA government and is also one of the fastest growing sectors in the state. The state government under the leadership of chief minister Mr N Chandrababu Naidu and Tourism Minister Mr Kandula Durgesh has cleared a slew of new investment proposals coming into the Hospitality space which is said to significantly ramp up star category room inventory across Andhra Pradesh.

Taking charge, the new committee vowed to work tirelessly for the development of the tourism and hospitality industry in the state and also to coordinate closely with State and Central Governments to promote the Growth and Prosperity of the Industry.

‘We will be working together to take the Tourism and Hospitality industry in Andhra Pradesh to New Heights’ said its newly elected president Mr Kartheek.

Outgoing members along with the entire hospitality fraternity congratulated the new committee and extended their best wishes for their tenure.
