The inspiration for Spotmies comes from a personal experience of the founder’s friend who, despite being well-qualified, struggled with interview anxiety and often felt unprepared for the variety of questions asked by different companies.
This friend’s experience highlighted a significant gap in resources for realistic, comprehensive interview preparation.
The AI-based interview bot provides realistic mock interview experiences, helping users build their skills and confidence. Simultaneously, they partner with companies to offer pre-screened, qualified candidates, streamlining their hiring process.
This dual approach effectively bridges the gap, making job search and recruitment more efficient and successful.
Users can practice with a variety of interview types, including basic, company-specific, HR, viva, and English practice sessions, ensuring they are well-prepared for any interview scenario.
By repeatedly practicing different interview scenarios, users can refine their responses, improve their communication skills, and reduce interview anxiety.
“The revenue model operates on a pay-per-interview basis ranging from Rs 59- 199. Users pay for each mock interview session they participate in, allowing them to choose and pay only for the specific interview types they need.
We also generate revenue through partnerships with companies seeking instant hiring solutions. These companies pay to access our pool of pre-screened candidates, which helps streamline their recruitment processes,” stated Satish.
As of now, they have served over 4,500 clients, including individual job seekers, educational institutions, and corporate partners.
The startup also claims to have helped more than 120 people get successfully placed in various companies in a span of 2 months.
