Mr. Nilabhra Dasgupta recently assumed the charge of Deputy Chairman, Paradip Port Authority.

He is an Indian Revenue Service Officer of 2008 batch. He has a Masters in Linguistics from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and was pursuing a Direct PhD when he cracked the prestigious Civil Services examination in his very first attempt.

Prior to taking over he was the Additional Director (Investigation), IT Department, Ahmedabad.
