A record loading of Thermal Coal was handled at Kakinada Deep Water Port (KDWP ) on  October 5th/ 6th, 2023.  M/s Bothra Shipping Services Pvt. Ltd.,  as Cargo Handling Agents , achieved an average load rate of 51892.00MT per day on a vessel , MV Jal Vaibhav owned and operated by them, which is the highest load rate ever achieved at ( KDWP ). 

The cargo was consigned to NTPC, Kudgi Bothra Shipping Services Pvt. Ltd., is part of the Bothra Group of Companies which owns a fleet of Dry Bulk vessels, besides owning Container, Fertiliser and Coal Terminals at KDWP and owns the largest number of Harbour Mobile Cranes ( HMC ) at various ports in India .They also operate Coal Terminals at Haldia and Paradeep.
