New Chairman of Mormugao port

Dr N.Vinodkumar, IPOS, has recently assumed charge as Chairperson, Mormugao Port Authority, Goa.

He belongs to the 1994 Batch of Indian Postal Service and was empanelled as Joint Secretary to the Government of India in 2017.

After a brief stint with Indian Customs, he joined the Indian Postal Service in 1994 after getting selected through the Indian Civil Service Exam held in 1993.

Since then, he has been working in various capacities in India Post, Ministry of Communications & IT, Government of India. Mr. Kumar aims to ensure that cargo handled at the port has minimum impact on environment.
