From state of the art Infra. to plug & play facilities Adhistan presents a World of Opportunities
With the new textile policy in place the state of Andhra Pradesh is going all out to attract companies in the textile, apparel & garments space and thereby promote the State as a major destination for global textile brands.
This development bodes well for industrial parks such as the Brandix India Apparel City, now renamed Adhistan. Located on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam district, Adhistan spans 1,000 acres and houses 15 manufacturing units, standing as a fully integrated industrial park offering end-to-end solutions.
With the revised policy offering wide ranging incentives for new companies to come and set up in AP, Adhistan is poised to become the go-to location for businesses seeking advanced infrastructure and operational ease.
“We are truly a plug-and-play facility with unmatched, state-of-the-art infrastructure,” said Mr. Suchira Surendranath, Director of Strategy & Investments at Adhistan, in an exclusive interview with Vizag Industrial Scan.
Adhistan offers a wealth of benefits, from a highly skilled workforce to best-in-class infrastructure.
The park employs approxi- mately 20,000 workers, the majority of whom are women, providing a robust talent pool for operations.
Since establishing our operations at Adhistan Integrated Industrial Park in 2014, we have benefited immensely from the state-of-the-art infrastructure and the supportive business environment. The park’s comprehensive facilities have been instrumental in our growth and success. Mr. Steve, Factory Head, Ribest Ribbons & Bows India
The park’s infrastructure is a standout feature. Its common effluent treatment plant, built to stringent environmental standards, can process 56 million liters of effluent discharge per day.
Additionally, Adhistan benefits from 500 million liters of rainwater harvesting ponds and proximity to the Godavari River, ensuring a stable water supply.
The ultra-modern water treatment facility within the park has a capacity to process 60 million liters of raw water daily.
Adhistan Integrated Industrial Park has provided us with world-class infrastructure and a highly supportive ecosystem. It has been a key factor in enabling our efficient operations and consistent growth. Mr. P. Venkateswar Rao, Factory Manager, Vardhaman Yarns & Threads Ltd (SEZ Unit).
“We invite new companies to establish their presence in Adhistan, where they can benefit from comprehensive plug-and-play infrastructure and seamless operational support,” added Mr. Surendranath.
