Showcasing the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as an attractive destination for entrepreneurs, representatives from the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, Govt. of Sharjah, UAE were recently in the city meeting with interested business owners.

The session jointly organized by ASSOCHAM and Hamriyah Free zone highlighted some of the key enablers in doing business in this zone.

They informed that Free trade zones attract 0% tax rates, 100% Ownership, preferential customs duty rates and 100% import and export tax exemption and that one could get a trade license within 24 hours.

The session was followed by a Q&A wherein many of the city’s businesses and entrepreneurs got achance to interact with the representatives and also ask them questions.

The following day B2B meetings were also organized for people wanting to get detailed information about setting up a business there.
