Oberoi Group gets set for its AP foray

Govt allocates 40 acres

Senior representatives of the luxury hospitality chain the Oberoi group recently visited Vizag and met with district officials here.

The Oberoi group led by its Chief Executive officer Mr. Vikram Oberoi, Corporate Affairs President Mr. Rajaraman Shankar met with district collector Mr. Mallikarjuna.

As per a release from the government it stated that the State Government has decided to allot 40 acres of land at Annavaram in Bheemunipatnam Mandal belonging to the Tourism Department to Oberoi Group on lease-cum-rent basis.

The Collector in his meeting with the Oberoi group officials made a powerpoint presentation and explained to them about the development of the various tourism projects in Visakhapatnam and also about other upcoming projects.

AP Tourism Executive Director Mr. Mal Reddy, Visakhapatnam Regional Tourism Director Mr. Srinivas Pani, Bheemili RDO Mr. Bhaskar Reddy Mandal Tehsildar and other officials were also present.
