Consul-General of Malaysia in Chennai, Mr. Saravana Kumar Kumaravasagam,  accompanied by Mr. Wan Ahmad Tarmizi Wan Idris, Trade Commissioner, visited Sri City recently. 

The objective was to gain first-hand knowledge about the industrial park, assessing its business potential, and exploring investment opportunities.

Mr. Satish Kamat, President (Operations), Sri City, and Mr. R. Shivshankar, Senior Vice President (Marketing), highlighted the unique features that set Sri City apart as a prominent business hub, Mr. Shivshankar showcased the dynamic and promising business ambience of the industrial park.

Commenting on the visit, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City, expressed the significance of the Consul General’s visit, highlighting its importance for the development of the mega industrial park. 

“Interaction of this kind will further enhance the business ties between the two countries, and we are confident that this visit will pave the way for investments from Malaysia.”

Thanking the Sri City management for arranging the visit, the Consul General said that Sri City is a very good park with an excellent ecosystem. 

I will be very happy to recommend Sri City strongly to Malaysian companies interested in investing in India in Food Processing and Electronics sectors.”

The Consul General has shown keen interest in knowing more about Sri City, covering a broad spectrum of areas. 

Following the briefing session, they had a detailed tour of the industrial park to get first-hand insights into the state-of-the-art infrastructure and the brisk pace of industrial development.

The visit of the Consul General serves as a testament to the attractiveness of Sri City as an investment destination.
