Japanese business delegation visits Sri City

A distinguished group of 23 Japanese business representatives, led jointly by Mr. Murahashi Yasuyuki, Director General of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) in Osaka, and Mr.Tomita Minoru, Chairman of the International Business Committee at the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and Executive Officer of Marubeni Corporation, recently paid a visit to Sri City.

Mr. Satish Kamat, President (Operations), along with Mr. Bodgan George, Asst., Vice President (Business Development), gave an elaborate presentation on the top-notch infrastructure and rapid development of the extensive industrial hub, emphasising the benefits of establishing manufacturing units in Sri City.

In his welcome address, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City stated, that the conducive business atmosphere here, coupled with exceptional infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and governmental support, would undoubtedly leave a strong impression and lead to increased investments in Sri City, which is recognised as the second largest Japanese Industrial Township in the country.

Mr. Tomita Minoru expressed satisfaction with the available infrastructure and the advantageous location, stating that they were all impressed by Sri City's potential.

Mr. Murahashi Yasuyuki, pleased with the rapid development of Sri City, referred to it as one of the best industrial parks in the country.

The delegation included members from prominent business houses in different sectors, including Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Auto ancillary, Technical Textiles, etc., Subsequently, the delegation had a glimpse of the industrial zone, visited the plant of Kobelco Construction Pvt., Ltd., They had a meeting with the CEOs of all the Sri City based Japanese Enterprises.
