Well renowned technocrat and IT guru for many Mr JA Chowdary has highlighted the urgent need for job creation and said that the biggest challenge for governments all over the world today is creating employment.

With the advent of futuristic technologies like Machine learning and Generative AI job creation for the plethora of youth in the country is at stake. ‘I have just returned from the US and in my numerous conversations with leading CEOs job creation is their biggest challenge’ said the former Special secretary IT (GoAP) and advisor to CM Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu (2014-2019) speaking exclusively to Vizag Industrial Scan.

He noted that many students in premier institutes both in the west and India are not only having a hard time finding jobs but even internships are hard to come by.

To address this seemingly exigent challenge Mr Chowdary has uninhibi- tedly advocated the role of startups in assuaging the unemployment rate.

‘In a country as diverse and as populated as India there are a myriad number of challenges that need to be solved. This therefore presents a gargantuan opportunity for startups to come and work upon’ said Mr Chowdary.

And to ensure the survival and success of startups in the new Andhra Pradesh he has suggested developing the Five M Model. These five Ms include Manpower, money, market, meetings and mentoring.

‘From providing financial support to securing funding to providing market access to mentorships these 5 M cover it all’ said the former IT advisor.

In addition JA as he is popularly called is planning on a Startup Bus Yatra which shall bring decision-makers and mentors from North America & Europe to various locations in AP.

‘We are bringing almost 200 decision makers from North America and Europe. This initiative aims to foster rural startups, addressing unique challenges in rural areas and converting them into opportunities for innovation and growth’ said Mr Chowdary.

The Inter- national Startup Foundation (ISF) founded by JA is also playing a key role by provi- ding funding and mentor- ship to startups across India, with  emphasis on rural inno- vation. Highlighting key sectors he said that ISF is focused on creating oppor- tunities in areas like agri- culture, healthcare & fintech.
