Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has been recognized for its contributions to ‘Digital Transformation’ in the Maritime Sector, securing prestigious award at the Governance Now 10th PSU IT Forum and Awards ceremony held in Delhi on 09 May 2025.
The event acknowledged the efforts and commitment of PSUs in making India truly a ‘Digital Nation’.
Cmde Rakesh Prasad, Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel), received the ‘IT Service Management’ Award for successfully implementing key IT Applications/ Reforms at HSL.
His efforts have strengthened digital systems, improved efficiency, and supported the broader vision of building a ‘Digital India’.
HSL was honoured in the Other PSU category, alongside leading Maharatna, Navratna, Miniratna, and State PSUs.
HSL remains committed to exploring and adopting emerging technologies to drive innovation and accelerate digital transformation in the Maritime Sector.
