Greenpark Hotels expands footprint, Buys out properties in Chennai & Ahmedabad

Greenpark Hotels and Resorts Limited recently announced the acquisition of Fairfield by Marriott Chennai OMR and Four Points by Sheraton Ahmedabad.

This marks the South Indian group’s entry into the West Indian region with Ahmedabad being one of the fastest growing and promising cities in the country. This would be the group’s second hotel in Chennai and first association with Marriott Hotels, said a release from the hotel. The acquisition would result in the addition of 210 keys to the existing portfolio of over 1000 rooms under management and award-winning F&B outlets like Mekong, Ohm and Once Upon a Time spanning 8 hotels across 5 cities.

Speaking on the acquisitions Mr K. Mohan Krishna, President, Greenpark Hotels And Resorts Limited said “2023 is an exciting year as we are expanding our footprint in newer territories with a Greenpark property slated to be operational early this year in Bengaluru. We aspire to expand our presence and extend our trademark hospitality across major metropolitan cities in the country”.
