As part of Indian Navy’s efforts to imbibe cutting-edge technologies, an Artificial Intelligence Experience Hub was recently inaugurated by Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, FOC-in-C, Eastern Naval Command at the Maritime Reference Library Visakhapatnam.

The AI Hub is equipped with state-of-the-art AI tools and applications to enthuse personnel to take advantage of the transformational advances in Artificial Intelligence.

The initiative aims to foster exposure, learning, and encourage germination and follow-up of use cases across multiple domains.

Commodore Shaunak Chatterjee is seen briefing the CinC and other senior naval officers in the picture above. It might be noted that just last month the Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan had released a Joint Doctrine for Cyberspace Operations during the Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC) meeting held on June 18, 2024, in New Delhi.
