Mr R.Lakshmanan, IAS (BH: 2004), has been appointed Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW). His overall tenure is of five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, informed an official communique. Earlier, he worked as Joint Secretary Rural Electrification Corporation Limited.
