Incorporated in 2021 GoPrayaan is a Business-to-Business service provider, providing a unique solution to accessing and managing business travel while making it affordable.
GoPrayaan was conceived from the firsthand experiences of two friends, now Co-Founders i.e. Akshay Mangalagiri and Yalla RaviTeja. With Akshay’s extensive background in the hotel industry and RaviTeja’s decade-long experience as a technology entrepreneur, they recognized the untapped business potential in addressing this gap while simultaneously bringing about a significant transformation in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
The startup helps companies with a big problem: it is hard and time-consuming for them to plan and pay for places to stay when their employees travel. Normally, companies have to spend a lot of time looking at different places to stay, checking prices, seeking approvals, and then making sure the hotel knows they’re coming. However, GoPrayaan makes this much easier as their APP offers hotels at flat and fixed prices which they claim are up to 65% cheaper than any online or offline channel, so that their users get to stay at hotels at the same prices throughout the year.
Moreover, it is very easy for enterprises to forecast their accommodation expenses, and becomes easier on their processes.“We currently have rolled out our Beta Product and we see a tremendous positive impact on our clients already. We work on a convenience fee model where we charge Rs 150 per booking. We are currently serving around 25 clients”, stated Akshay adding that they have a vast network of hotels across India and comprises more than 1200 hotels and growing.
