1st person from South India to be VP

In the recently held national elections of MES Builders Association, Mr. C. Balasatish was elected as the national Vice President. The MES Builders executes various works for the Armed forces and the elections are held once in every two years.

There are about 10,000 members in 74 branches that are spread across the whole country.

Mr. Bala Satish has extensive experience wherein he has held various posts in the MES Builders Association including Visakhapatnam Branch Secretary from 1996 to 1997, Visakhapatnam Branch Chairman from 1997 to 1998 and from 2019 to 2023, The National Joint General Secretary for 2013-14, Member of the Council: 1997–2023. 

Mr.Balasatish is well versed about the Indian Armed Forces Work Act and has taken care of  builders in many ways. He has also been instrumental  in getting Defence contractors exempted from Service Tax in the past.

In addition he is a member of the Rotary Movement and the Managing Trustee of the Visakha Safety Council Training and Development Trust. He is also former member of the District Road Safety Advisory Committee and the Visakhapatnam Traffic Police Advisory Committee.
