A young entrepreneur from Vizag is steering the future of India’s VFX and virtual production industry with the launch of Mach Visuals, Andhra Pradesh’s first virtual production studio. Officially incorporated in January 2025 after over a year of research and development, the company is already making waves with its innovative approach to filmmaking, advertising, and immersive media.
Founder Sanat Pratap Singh, who previously worked with leading production houses and shot high-profile weddings worldwide, was inspired to create a studio that combines creativity with technology. His exposure to international production standards highlighted the need for India to adopt more cost-effective, efficient, and tech-driven solutions.
The studio’s unique proposition lies in its proprietary Mach Way workflow, which allows filmmakers to see live outputs while shooting on a chroma stage. This eliminates delays in post-production, enabling directors and cinematographers to make real-time creative decisions. Beyond cinema and advertising, the studio is exploring applications in architecture, live events, and virtual podcasts, making it a truly multidisciplinary enterprise.
In less than a year, Mach Visuals has delivered projects for clients such as Level Supermind, co-founded by content creator Ranveer Allahbadia. The team is also experimenting with motion capture technology, with plans to showcase interactive experiences where avatars replicate live human movements.
Their revenue model is built around creating a comprehensive ecosystem, offering a complete virtual production suite along with end-to-end post-production, delivered as a turnkey solution.
Despite being a five-member bootstrapped startup, the company is doing good and aims to scale operations across India and eventually globally. Sanat envisions not only creating cutting-edge content but also contributing to India’s emergence as a hub for media technology development.
By integrating artificial intelligence into workflows for 3D modelling, texturing, and rendering, Mach Visuals is bridging traditional production with futuristic innovation. As Sanat puts it, the goal is simple yet ambitious: “to make possibilities limitless.”
