Mr. GVN Prasad recently assumed charge as Director (Commercial) at RINL. Prior to his elevation as Director (Commercial), Mr GVN Prasad was working as General Manager (Marketing) and was in-charge of Marketing Operations at RINL.

A Metallurgical Engineer by qualification, GVN Prasad has also completed Executive Post Graduate Program in Executive Management (EPGP) from the prestigious IIM- Kozhikode.

He joined RINL in 1987. Mr. Prasad worked at RINL in various capacities such as Branch Manager (Marketing) across India and also as Regional Manager(Marketing) in Eastern Region and Western Region before taking over as GM (Marketing)-Incharge of Marketing Operations(MO) at Visakhapatnam and has rich and varied experience in many facets of Marketing. 

Mr. GVN Prasad was awarded the prestigious Jawahar Nehru (JN) award in the year 2015 by the RINL management for his outstanding performance on the official front.
