Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant won the First Position under the category ‘Manufacturing – Public – Mega’ at the 18th National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management-2022.
“National Award for Excellence in Cost Management” was instituted in 2003 by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) to recognize and honor organizations that have implemented efficient and innovative Cost Management techniques.
RINL bagged the award in recognition of its several cost reduction initiatives, effective utilization of resources, improving techno-economics, and for implementing best cost management practices.
RINL also won First Position under the category Manufacturing – Public – Mega during the 17th National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management.
The award was received by CGM (F&A), & CFO Mr. V Santa Kumar, along with DGM (F&A) Mr. D Chinna Rao, on behalf of RINL from Dr. Sanjay Bahl, Director General Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in), Government of India in New Delhi recently.
