Andhra Pradesh Mines Minister Mr. Kollu Ravindra has said that there is a possibility of achieving better results only when the mining sector moves forward with new goals.
He highlighted on the immense opportunities in the mining sector in the state and emphasised the need for critical mining.
The state’s minister was speaking at the 3rd National Mining Ministers’ Conference in Konark, Odisha organised by the Ministry of Mines, in collaboration with the Odisha Government.
The event saw the participation of Union Minister Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, Chief Minister of Odisha Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi, 14 State Mining Ministers, senior Ministry officials, industry leaders, and key stakeholders.
Throughout the conference states got an opportunity to share their suggestions, policies, needs and aspirations with each other.
As part of the Pradhan Mantri Khanja Kshetra Kalyan Yojana program, there is an opportunity to take steps for development in mining-affected areas in the state, increase the living standards of people and develop skills among the youth.
Mr. Ravindra also requestd the GSI Training Institute to conduct regular training programs for the State DMG officers.
