Minister vows to cleanse Mines & Excise Depts.

The minister for Mines, Underground Resources and Excise Mr. Kollu Ravindra recently took charge of the ministry. 

Addressing the media the minister said  that the mines and Excise Departments, were completely neglected in the last five years, and thus will now be completely cleansed. 

He informed that the abundant mineral resources of the state will be utilized for public welfare. Mr Ravindra also signed the first ONGC Petroleum Mining Lease renewal file pending from the year 2022. According to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Rules, 1959, this license will be renewed up to the year 2040 subject to certain conditions.

He said that the new government formed in the state through the alliance will provide clean administration to the people under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr.Nara Chandrababu Naidu. He said that  the government will bring in a new excise policy and programs such as liquor transactions, distribution from distilleries will be implemented in a very transparent manner. 

The Minister said that steps will be taken to control illegal sand transportation and supply sand according to public needs. Tirupati Collector Mr Pravin Kumar also called on the Minister and congratulated him.
