MCZMA issues CRZ clearance for Vadhvan Mega Port

The development of all Weather Deep Draft Greenfield Vadhvan Mega Port has been recommended by Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority for CRZ Clearance to MOEF&CC in its 172nd meeting held recently. Mr. Unmesh Sharad Wagh (IRS) Chairman in-charge, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) confirmed that CRZ recommendation is received for Vadhvan Port project from MCZMA. 

JNPA is planning to develop this project in collaboration with the Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB). It is also informed that the Dahanu Taluka Environment Protection Authority (DTEPA) has already granted permission for Development of Vadhvan Port Project. 

Chairman in-charge JNPA informed that, they will abide by all the conditions issued in the CRZ recommendation.
