High-level Japanese delegation visits Sri City

A four-member team of senior government officials from the leading industrial state on the west coast of Japan, Hiroshima recently visited Sri City.

Headed by Mr. Hiroharu Sakane they toured the city, observing the advanced infrastructure and dynamic industrial ecosystem, which provided them with a compre- hensive understanding of its operations.

Mr. Hiroharu Sakane commended Sri City’s vast layout, strong infrastru- cture, and industry-friendly environment, appreciating the management’s work in developing a well-structu- red industrial park with a thriving ecosystem.

Mr. R. Shivasankar, Senior Vice President (Marketing) at Sri City, delivered a presentation showcasing Sri City’s unique attributes, its potential as a thriving industrial hub across diverse manufacturing sectors, and the benefits of establishing a manufacturing unit in the business city.

He highlighted that Sri City ranks as the second-largest investment destination for Japanese brands in India, hosting over 30 Japanese companies from various industries. The delegates actively engaged in the session, raising insightful questions about business establishment and the available opportunities.

Impressed by the thriving ecosystem fostered by the presence of manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics firms, the delegates explored business potential of the business city. Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City expressed delight over the delegation visit, stating, “Their visit is a significant step toward further strengthening business relations between India and Japan. I am confident such interactions will open avenues for entrepreneurs from Hiroshima to invest in Sri City.” The delegation also included Mr. Yudai Harun, a Hiroshima government official, along with Mr. Takushi Kosaka and Mr. Hiroki Onishi from Hiroshima Bank Ltd.
