The Centre of Excellence in Maritime and Shipbuilding (CEMS) Vizag in coordination with Visakhapatnam Port Authority has been imparting training in latest software and hardware technology. 

As part of this training, students are being trained / educated in courses viz., Inventory Controller, Courier Supervisor, Warehouse Executive, CNC Machine Operator, Welder, and Electricians. 

As a special drive (Women Empowerment) 25 girl students were trained in Inventory Controller course of 60 days starting from 1 st March 2024 to 30th April 2024.

Addressing the students, Dr. M. Angamuthu, IAS, Chairperson, Visakhapatnam Port Authority, complimented students in passing out and distributed Course Completion Certificate to all the 25 girl students and to those who got placements. 

He wished all the girls to be positive in their approach and bring laurels to their institution. The Head of the Institution informed that out of 25 girls 17 students have been given job offer letters for placement at Hyderabad in reputed institutions.
