Showcasing its commitment towards development and beautification of Vizag Port as well as for Vizag City Visakhapatnam Port Authority recently inaugurated the Gate way of the Port at a cost of Rs.30 lakhs at Convent Junction.

VPA in a release stated that it is working along with the City Administration in developing roads, pavements, meridians in some of the main junctions in the City while also improving greenery and also arranging lighting strips for an  enhanced look of the Port area during nights. 

Addressing the gathering Chairperson Dr. M. Angamuthu, IAS, said that Vizag is the most beautiful city in the country in all aspects and complemented the city administration, city police for their unstinted support. 

Mr Sai Kanth Verma, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Vizag commended the developmental works such as relaying of BT roads, lighting arrangements with LED Strips towards North and West sides, improving greenery, beautification of flyover at Convent Junction etc. Dr. A. Ravi Shankar, IPS, CP,  Mr Durgesh Kumar Dubey along with others participated.
