World-renowned Indian Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has given his utmost support to Andhra Pradesh’s wellness tourism drive and assured his full support in promoting tourism in the state.
Addressing a recent Tourism conclave in Andhra Pradesh, wherein the chief minister was also present, he evinced interest in setting up a world-class wellness centre in Horsley Hills, located in Andhra Pradesh.
Baba Ramdev had earlier visited Horsley Hills, a popular tourist destination in the Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh and proposed to set up an international wellness centre. During his visit, he inspected land for the proposed establishment of an international wellness center.
He further mentioned that plans are underway to set up a cultural, spiritual, and wellness center at the site, with his representatives already having surveyed the area. Officials from the Tourism Department were also present during the visit.
In addition, Baba Ramdev proposed to make AP the preferred place for destination weddings. “With AP being blessed with picturesque mountains, beaches, and other natural settings, I assure you we can make AP as one of the most preferred destinations for weddings,” stated the yoga guru.
He, along with the Chief Minister Mr N Chandrababu Naidu also flagged off the caravans and suggested that such tourism experiences should be made affordable and accessible to the common public.
Baba Ramdev heaped praises on AP’s Chief Minister, Mr Naidu, and lauded his way of governance, keen focus on innovation and technology, and also his execution style.
He is truly an inspiration for many politicians across the country, said Baba Ramdev.
