Speaking on the occasion, he said that the establishment of parks will provide employment opportunities to the people in this area.

The coalition government has taken a policy decision to set up micro, small and medium scale industries in 175 assembly constituencies in the state, he said. In order to pave the way for industrial development in the district and encourage the establishment of small industries, the state government has initiated the establishment of industrial parks in the first phase of the district within the limits of Palasa and Pathapatnam assembly constituencies.

The Union Minister said that infrastructure facilities will be provided in the land allotted for the park. The minister reiterated that 20 lakh jobs will be created in five years.

Industrialists have been called upon to come forward for the establishment of micro and medium scale industries. Mr Naidu further said that the Meliyaputti road will be connected to the Moolapet port. He said that he will talk to the Chief Minister for setting up an ITDA in this area.
