Decoding Affordable Healthcare

Published on

Sometime the biggest problem in healthcare isn’t the lack of innovation — it’s the delay in applying it. This problem inspired Dr J Sarath Babu, the founder of a new nanobiologics startup, who saw how many lives were being lost simply because advanced medical discoveries weren’t reaching patients in time.

Determined to change that, he built a company focused on one goal — to quickly turn scientific breakthroughs into real treatments that save lives.

Akrivis Healthcare Pvt Ltd works in the field of nanobiologics, developing advanced materials that can be used in life-saving medicines. The mission is to make these treatments more accessible and affordable for everyone.

The founder believes that biologics are expensive not because they’re complex, but because they aren’t produced at scale. By focusing on smart science and larger-scale production, they’re proving that world-class biologics don’t have to come with a high price tag.

Their approach combines deep scientific research with practical medical applications. By connecting different technologies and disciplines, they are creating innovative yet simple solutions that can be used widely.

Akrivis Health Care, in collaboration with Nanomalaysia, has successfully developed industrial-scale, pyrogen-free nano collagen that is 8400% more effective than regular collagen.

The company earns revenue through licensing its technology to pharmaceutical firms, forming research partnerships, and, after regulatory approvals, selling its own diagnostic and therapeutic products.

So far, it has worked with leading research institutions and global pharma partners, all of whom have praised its technology for precision, quality, and scalability.

In the coming years, the startup plans to expand globally, with approvals in progress across India, France, Canada, the USA, Malaysia, and Australia.

With a clear focus and a strong research base, they expect to cross Rs 20 crore in revenue soon — and, more importantly, bring cutting-edge science to those who need it most.
