Belgian Company to ramp up capacity in Andhra Pradesh

To invest additional Rs.100 Crores

A major player in the world of medical equipment, VERMEIREN GROUP had been investing in the state since 2016. 

The company which manufactures wheelchairs since 1957 recently announced to further invest in Andhra Pradesh. 

The Company’s Managing Director Mr. Syed Riaz Qadri had met the State Industries, Commerce and Food Processing Minister Mr. TG Bharat and held a meeting with Minister to expand the unit of Vermeerion Company in Sri City. 

The Minister said that Vermeiren Company which manufactures hospital equipment is ready to invest Rs. 100 crores in the state.

The Minister further informed that the company shall soon start the work to expand their unit in Sri City. Under the leadership of CM Chandrababu Naidu, efforts are being made to bring investments to the state said the Industry Minister. 

He also said that investors are flocking to AP because of their trust in their government.
