Chairman and Managing Director of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) Mr. Sanjay Swarup recently inspected the terminal and visited Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Visakhapatnam and interacted with Shipping Lines and major domestic customers.

The CMD was also briefed about latest developments and adoption of AI in CONCOR. In addition the CMD visited railway workshop at Vadlapudi, Duvvada and Vizag Port Authority and interacted with officials. CONCOR was incorporated in March 1988 under the companies act, and commenced operations in November 1989 taking over an existing network of seven ICDs from Indian Railways. It now has a network of 61 ICDs/CFSs throughout India.
