Kadapa’s long cherished dream of Steel Plant gets underway

The long awaited dream of getting a steel plant in his home district of Kadapa finally saw the light of the day when the chief minister, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy along with JSW chairman Mr Sajjan Jindal laid the foundation stone for the steel plant in Kadapa district.

Heaping praises on the CM Mr Jindal said it was due to Mr Jagan’s continued persuasion and commitment that the day has finally come. This has been a long-cherished dream of the people of Kadapa and your CM with his unwavering commitment of uplifting the people of the state and region has made this possible, said Mr Jindal.

Lauding CM’s leadership Mr Jindal appreciated that the state of Andhra Pradesh has the fastest GSDP growth rate in the country. ‘All CMs are talking about AP and CM Jagan’s commitment of uplifting the people of Andhra Pradesh’ said Mr Jindal.

Talking on the steel plant he said that albeit they are starting with a small capacity it will go on to become one of the biggest and state of the art steel plants in the world.

‘This will be a model steel plant, the greenest steel plant in the world as it will operate on green fuel. It will be a very futuristics and modern steel plant’ said the chairman of the JSW group.

Mr Jindal also noted that with the coming up of the steel plant Kadapa region will see all round development and will blossom into a thriving and prosperous place. ‘Kadapa in times to come will be known as the Steel district of India’ said Mr Jindal.
